I just received the 18 page "Packaging Guide" from my local dealer. It details the options identified by option numbers. Besides all the individual options there are 3 "prep packages": Ambulance, RV and a builders package. Your local dealer should be able to get you a copy of the guide.

This is great to have this info about the Ford Transit online.

Anyone know what the Personal Safety System is? Sounds like a body guard or self-defense style.

I'm glad to have all the dimensions listed here too. Thanks for the help and the post.

From the Ford website:

The standard Personal Safety System™ uses the electronic crash-severity sensor, a restraint-control module, a driver’s seat position sensor, dual-stage front airbags,* Front Passenger Sensing System, safety belt pretensioners, safety belt energy management retractors and front outboard safety belt usage sensors to help protect the driver and front seat passenger.

And the the cabin of the van also includes a " high grade polypropylene spherical device, fully integrated into the driving control center, designed to provide maximum stability and control with the drive control mechanism, with an integrated high volume driver and pedestrian warning system which is able to warn other vehicle operators of impending vehicle collision". I made that up...but sounds like that would be how the ford website would describe a steering wheel with a horn to me.
