So when they had to cut off the front sub frame on our 2015 Transit to remove the trans they found that the trans cross member and front sub frame had already rotted through and had holes rusted already. Crazy on a 2015 van.

I'm not surprised. Man hasn't invented a steel that is impervious to road salt, coated or not, without proper care and cleaning.

I will never buy a used car from the northern states. No one cares for them properly and this happens.

There is another guy on this forum that did get ford to pay for the damages rust did to his subframe but that transit was just under three years old, The three year warranty. It is unclear whether they will warranty past that.

There isn't, but maybe file an NHTSA complaint and some of us will likely join you in a few years.

Toyota paid out for a whole generation of Tacoma/Tundra/Sequoias because of frame rust.

Based on the condition of the brake rotors in your other post, I don't think this is a defect issue . I hope Ford thinks different.
