I washed mine 4 times in 7 years and it has never been waxed, I am thinking it is time to wash it again because the green mildew is getting pretty thick on the white paint.
My transit has 14,000 miles on it.

Very clean. The black wheels makes the difference in my opinion. I also just washed mine and it also has black wheels.

Ive been using Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax for the last handful of years. Been contemplating switching to the ceramics but I keep getting tugged back to the tried and true.
I use carnauba for my garage queen and something with polymers for anything that lives full time outside. The protection just lasts longer. You might get a month of protection from traditional wax.
Loooooking gooooood!

To the OP, that’s a fantastic shine! The paint color, fresh wax, glossy blacks, and lighting all make for an amazingly clean van. I love to wax my van and vehicles…. It’s a rewarding pastime and therapeutic lol. I always notice other vehicles that make it obvious their owners take pride. Nice 👍🏻

I prefer white just because it stays cleaner on our gravel road. I do wish it reflected more like darker colors though…

Thank you! I dont always enjoy the process and sometimes wish I could be satisfied with automated systems but the handful of times I've used them I'm always disappointed.
This is the first vehicle I bought that wasnt white, as we are a family that loves white vehicles. I decided to change it up a bit, mainly because I work for an hvac wholesale company and see a lot of white vans. But oddly enough now everyone thinks I work for amazon. haha
I like that wheel swap!

I call that Ford color "next day grey". Feel free to reuse ... with proper accreditation, of course.
Maybe add a baby blue pinstripe 😛

Tire/trim shine does SO much for the overall “WOW” factor! 👍🏻

I just had two customers pick up and they pointed at my shiny tires and said "you just washed it". My driveway is gravel and I live in a rural area. I also tend to ride my dirt bikes a lot in areas that require gravel access. I prefer clean (scrubbed with a brush) tires and trim because of the circumstances that I deal with. When we lived in the city for a period of time I bought the lady some new wheels and tires as a surprise. I remember using red glitter tire shine on those. Anyway, I think they both look good I guess.. but I was happy to oblige the original poster in this case. Three week road trip starts tomorrow with shiny tires!

Major advantage of Oxford White...no clearcoat so less need to wash and wax.
At least in the desert SW clearcoat eventually fails and there is no easy fix.
Yep, I have saw old clearcoat, It starts to blister and flake.

Not that I am generally into using abrasives and machines to remove clearcoat for "paint correction" but I do wonder about the hardness Oxford White monocoat.

"The color coat is formulated with the same appearance and protection properties of the clearcoat, which eliminates the need for a separate clearcoat." ..." a two-wet monocoat procedure in which a single coat combining both basecoat and clearcoat properties"

So maybe harder than old fashion single stage paint but ...??? I suppose when I see the need to clean up some objectionable surface damage I'll find out. Another advantage of white is surface scratches don't show like they do on darker colors.
