Not sure if this is an option for your passenger van but I installed my amp and powered sub in the walls behind the driver's seat. I used the panels from DIYvan (Hein) to install a 4 channel amp and a Alpine Sub.

(I don't remember paying this much for the panels, but maybe I just tried to forget.)

Below are the dimensions of our boxes that fit those areas.

      Forward box
      opening size 6.875w x 13h corner radius 1"
      box size 7.125w x 13.75h x 3.25 depth
depth is from face of panel. panel is .75 thick

      Middle box
      opening size 10w x 13h corner radius 1"
      box size 10.25w x 13.75h x 3.25 depth
depth is from face of panel. panel is .75 thick

      Rear box
      opening size 7.5w x 13h corner radius 1"
      box size 7.125w x 13.75h x 3.25 depth

      All the best,

Bought this van new in 2019 with all of the desirable options.
      (spec sheet incoming)
      highlights:
      • 3.5 EcoBoost
      • Trailer Package
      • Aux Switches
      • Rear heat/AC
Had the pop-top installed by Colorado Campervans in 2020.
      (invoice incoming)
      highlights:
      • color matched top
      • 4 season insulation
      • full cut-out with accommodation for MULE bags
      • Maxx-air fan deluxe installation
      • Dimmable LED lights
Interior build out is minimal, as we like to be outside when camping and really just use the van for gear storage and sleeping. See below for a list of most of the modifications and add-ons. I am sure I forgot to add some things so expect some updates to the list.

NW Conversions 16 gallon undercarriage water tank https://www.nwconversions.com/product/16-gallon-transit-van-undercarriage-water-tank/
The van has been great for us, we have used it to camp in all kinds of weather and terrain. Mostly in Northern NM, Southern Colorado and Central AZ. We originally bought the van as an upgrade to a 4Runner and for mountain biking trips. Since the purchase we have gotten into motos and we are looking to get a more capable 4 wheel drive pickup for some of the more rugged terrain we encounter on our moto trips. Not to disparage the capability of the van, it does very well in all kinds of terrain but it is a RWD van and thus requires very careful driving and route planning.
Detailed pictures coming soon, if there is something specific you would like to see please send me a message or post here.
