Hi!
We are in a similar situation with the 3.5 inch drain.
I am wondering if it is possible to connect the camco drain assembly for RVs.

I bought one that appears to be identical other than price, although it was cheaper when I bought in 2020.
I actually used this for over a year.

The only thing that bugged me is the rubber bumpers for the glass lid, they fit on the screw heads, would sometimes stick to the lid when opening. A bit of glue in the bumper receptacle would have solved this.
Also, I used a different drain below the sink, https://amzn.to/3FOG3oP , and slightly different mounting hardware (I think).
If the price is ok with you, it is what it seems like, "just like" the more expensive ones.

Joined·163 PostsYour drawing is correct in the way the water will fill the tank. I would be cautious about using a 1/2" drain line, might have drainage issues it does depend on the length of the 1/2" line.
Might want to upsize to 3/4", I used this drain system Camco Flexible Camper Drain Tap with Hose System and converted a 1-1/2" opening to 3/4 "using a 1-1/2" NPT to 3/4" barb fitting (see picture). My tank is not a NW tank, it is two 5 gallon tanks connected together.
Gray tank does have a heater mat and works fine, I also drain it frequently.

Thank you for your response, that is very helpful info. I have the same Camco drain that you're using. Do you happen to have a link to your 1-1/2" NPT to 3/4" barb fitting? I'm having a hard time finding it on Google. I see a an NPT x NPT but haven't been able to find the barb reducer. I also emailed NWC and they told me the tank has another 1-1/2" port at the top and their picture is old - I guess I should open up my packages lol So if that is truly the case then I would fill from the top using your fitting suggestion.
