Yeah I considered the Autosock as well. Easy and much less expensive. I spend a ton of time offroad and figured they would likely get shredded after just a few uses. I'm thinking the Köenigs might hold up awhile. I guess time will tell.

I would NOT recommend auto socks. They should be renamed auto suck. These origionally came out for semis and now I've seen them on cars. Well, actually I see many in the middle of I80, after they have fallen off. Get chains, or cables that you can put on easily, and offer decent traction. I use a pair of cables for getting through chain control and carry a pair of steel chains for deeper snow conditions or mud.AUTOSOCK AS695 Winter Traction Device
