Interior bare roof photos wanted

Hello All - I need to add a roof antenna for my router, but my van had a headliner installed by the RV manufacturer, and I don't know what the sheetmetal looks like.

Can anyone share photos of the last interior roof bay by the rear doors on a high roof extended Transit? Mine's a 2024, but I doubt it's changed much over the last few years.

Didn't take many photos of that area...

Best bet is to use the very rear holes that are taped over from the factory - if they haven't been used for a roof-rack.

The roof is flat sheetmetal in that bay, perfect for an antenna. Be careful drilling it's a sandwich panel. Seal the hole extremely well with butyl tape and Dicor sealant to avoid leaks.

My GoTo for interior pictures of the naked van is FarOutRide, their threaded insert page has 3d scrollable VR-style photo that's quite handy.

Try going to your ford dealer and looking irl at a cargo van for inspiration. Also I can suggest just bringing the wire in beside the rear door and back up at the bottom of the door. This provides a drip loop requiring no caulking. I brought my 800w of solar in this way. it’s night time now, but I will send pictures tomorrow.

Peplink 42G antenna. Don't really have an option on where to bring the wires in.

Looks like two choices. Most elegant exterior would be to use a mast over the factory hole then how to hide the wires inside. Alternatively mount a bracket and drop the wires through the door.

this is my minimally, invasive way to get wires in without roof penetration.

Got the antenna installed this weekend. I had to position it farther back than I originally wanted because I could not get the headliner out. Ended up putting it into the rear box section.
