While I was under my transit, I had it on my hoist installing the amp research power running boards, I noticed one little drop of trans fluid on the transfer case flange that bolts up to to transmission so I took a pic and sent it to a buddy that’s the service manager at the ford dealership asked him if I should be concerned and he said to clean it and watch it to see if it reoccurs. So now 2 weeks later I thought I’d better check and sure enough the drop of fluid is there
My concern is it looks like a lot of work taking this apart and trying to reseal it, I hate the thought of ripping apart a new vehicle and worry that’s it’s not as good as what factory should be. Should I live with the tiny leak or is it a problem that will get worse or....?
