LOL!
Well you have to be famous for something in life. I missed all the big important stuff so had to settle to posts on the Sprinter and Transit site.

I tell them I'm a sex toy designer and then I go inside my van and pull out this 12" silicone dildo I cast in grad school (don't ask). I tell them it hasn't been used...much and then ask if they would like to touch it. So far, no one has accepted my offer.

I had almost forgotten about this thread. Since originally posting it I'm farther along with converting it to livable space, though never as far along as I'd like. I'm pretty sure most people at my work now know or suspect what I'm up to and most are cool with it, some even jealous that I'm able to do this and they aren't (or rather choose not to).

I'm pretty stealthy when I'm out and about, so I haven't had any encounters with strangers bugging me yet.

The fact you see it as "defending" says a lot.

On the introvert scale you aren't that extreme because here you are on a forum expressing...er...sociopathic thoughts to anyone listening.

Buisness

The problem with these days is any scrawny runt or not,can just put a bullit in you and ruin your day in a hurry. Everybody has guns, and like it or not, the most interaction we must face is driving the roads with some stupid inconsiderate people. The last 10 years, I've logged over 300,000 miles on my motorcycle and have seen it all, all over the48. I do not carry a gun.

Since yer Canadian and hate I'm going to take a liberty here.

When someone has something you covet or resent that you don't have yourself, in the proper King's English that is called Envy, or being envious.

When you have something you fear losing to others, such as a scrumptious wife or your favorable position with a boss etc, that is called jealousy or being jealous.

Chances are if you are looking for negative aspects, you've seen others as having envy about your van. Maybe if you are lucky you have cause to be jealous about how they lick their lips when they gaze on your wife and she is too quick to throw them back a smile.

That's not to say you wouldn't be luckier if she gave them the thousand mile stare if all the rest is true. I'm just sayin'....

Indeed it does (or rather "did"?), and in the short time since I originally posted that I'm finding much less that I feel this way.

I'm interested to hear you expand on this idea, as it's an area where I've been trying to adjust my own paradigm.

Since you're likely American, I'm surprised you've eloquently indicated the difference.

Ok, that's not fair. There are plenty of Canadians in the same boot.
