I have 2 NEW sets of the FLEET center caps but only 10 for the lug nut covers. I think it would be better to get some chrome or black regular lug nuts instead of the lug nut covers.

Let me know if you want the smaller Fleet center caps, $35 plus shipping will get you a set.

I used some good quality Silicon caulk from the hardware store. Probably should have used Dicor or other sealant specifically designed for RVs but it's holding up fine. Others have used 3M 4200 or 5200 sealant, but these are more like glue and make it very difficult to remove it if you ever wanted to.

Sorry for the late reply. I forgot about checking notifications in here. We like the racks. Easy to install. The end caps cracked though. I glued them back together and going to see if they hold up, but haven't reinstalled them yet.

actually I used "FlexSeal" both the can and the tube...been over a year and no problems/leaks/etc...I didn't like the sloppy way Dicor looked or applied on my last RV so was looking for an alternative and this (flex seal) was suggested by @Hein...

still on the road (heading for the Tetons this week) but will try and remember to get you some pics soon...

I like the Ford roof bars. Easy to install and they work great. Just make sure to install sealant, which isn't mentioned in the detailed instructions. I installed mine 3 years ago, when there weren't many options. Now there are plenty of other choices. My roof bars are used as a support for. RHINO roof rack. In my signature is a link to my van build. Should be pictures and details starting at page 25 or click on the link to my blog.

    Hey Michael...

Pretty happy overall with the 4 bar ford rack...easy install by myself, with solar panels mounted lost about 1-2 mpg...5k+ since install and no problems...

I have a medium roof and I'm guessing from your comments you have a low roof?

I'll grab some pics this afternoon while prepping for the next trip (Tetons)
