Sprinter: a website that allows owners to rent their RVS. Forgot the name. Maybe Outdoorsy...?

Transit camper : WanderVans.

just rented a very similar 22' high roof Transit with EcoBoost 3.5 gasser... also about 50k on it... drove many miles over similar terrain.....
and in every weakness above with the Sprinter, the Transit was WAY better. Way better.

averaged about 18 mpg.

we will get a Transit EcoBoost, for sure, if we get anything. <img src="https://www.fordtransitusaforum.com/images/smilies/tango_face_smile.png" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
Where are you renting these types of vehicles?

The ONLY thing I miss about the 2004 POS were the upgraded seats ($400.00 each). They have ruined sitting in anything else. Might even some day try and track down a pair for the Transit.

We owned a 2008 Sprinter diesel passenger for 5 years. Hauled 7-8 kids (carpool) every day to/from school for 5 loooooong years. It was a beast internally (where kids were concerned).

But externally and engine and reliability and drive train and rust and "DANMED EXPENSIVE PARTS" were a killer, not to mention the nearest servicing dealer was 90 miles away and went WEEKS between servicing Sprinters...so their experience base SUCKKED!

We bought our NEW 2017 Transit 18 months ago and it hasn't had a SINGLE thing wrong in 30K miles, dealership is 5 miles away and VERY experienced. VERY Happy. VERY satisfied. VERY pleased. And the Transit is made by 'Mericans only 250 miles from our locale!!!
