What did they do about the water on the other side pouring onto the wiring harness, hmmm?

No idea, but will check later. This feels like one of those topics that should have a separate, sticky post somewhere with fully-summarized information. This current thread is 142+ pages long and sifting through all of it to try and find the salient points is a huge chore. Very easy to miss things.

For the wiring harness, I made a baby TURD by cutting the bottom off a plastic bottle. I checked it recently, and there's definitely signs of water (water stains/dried sediment) on top off it. Glad I took the 5 minutes to make/install it.

Big TURD shows the same thing on the other side.

Edit: laughing to myself about what someone thinks if (s)he hasn't read prior pages.

Did you just duct tape it to the wires, or how did you “secure” it. Pic available?

Continuing the “joke:” Need new thread called : show us your TURD.

2015 HR mid-length, EB3.5, 3.31 started out as "blank canvas" but now with some ghetto / not-so-ghetto conversions. But certainly no Airstream or Outside Van.

Someone who hasn't read any of the previous pages will write:

"Did Ford fix this on my year Transit?"

I don't have a pic, yet, but I just made cut outs to fit the wires coming out both sides and it seems to stay put. I'll take a pic next time I'm under the hood.

Here are the pics. Notice the dried sediment all over. No tape. Stays in place using magic (and gravity).

I just wrapped an empty plastic bread bag around mine and taped it in place. Been good for two years now.
