All vehicles must be fully self contained. The dumping of any gray water is prohibited. You must call ahead, do not arrive without calling first. Not only do you need to call ahead to arrange your visit, you must arrive during business hours, unless the host says otherwise. It is intended as an overnight program with stays of a maximum of 24 hours. You are asked to make a purchase (suggested $20 minimum) to show your appreciation. Tents, campers with tent pop-outs, mini-vans and sleeping in cars or trucks are prohibited.

I checked out a few of the locations nearest me. Some gave me the creepy host feeling.

Thanks for the review SierraHiker. I wanted to sign up with Harvest Hosts last year but was still building my van. Now that I'm more ready their price went up like 60% :-( But the addition of golf courses makes it even more interesting.

The boondockers looks interesting as well. There are a few sites that might be useful to me, and only costs $30.

The golf course option is an extra upcharge for a total of $119/year with that option included.
