Used 2016 Transit / No Safety Recall for Driveshaft

I'm looking to purchase a used 2016 Transit 150, 130"wb, passenger, 3.5 ecoboost.

The carfax does NOT show any safety recalls and when I punch the VIN into saftercar.gov or nhtsa.gov, there are 0 recalls. But when I read the Ford Safety Recall 17S15 – Supplement #7 , it says the affected vehicles are:

- Transit 2015-2017 / Kansas City / January 17, 2014 through June 15, 2017

The vehicle I'm looking at has less than 30k miles. Is it possible it wasn't built in Kansas City? Any insight on this is appreciated.

Pretty sure it was built in Kansas City.

Can you inspect the flexible coupling? My guess would be the coupling has been replaced if it doesn’t have any cracks in it.

From what I recall, that 0 safety recalls from carfax means 0 outstanding recalls.

Means that the recall was taken care of already.

The 30K miles was about the time when Ford was looking to replace the coupling so it might be smart if you get the Transit to take it in and be sure it was replaced.
