Problem with this microwave is the house inverter needs to run full time to maintain clock time. Will also use power when not cooking. With 750 watt cooking power the power required to run it would require a larger inverter than 1000 watts. Nice unit for home use.
I use this one, 600 watt cooking consumes about 950 wats runs on my 1000 watt inverter. Plus has the 2 mechanical dials and doesn't consume power when off.
I would bet the Commercial Chef microwave is from the same manufacturer as the Westinghouse but it costs a lot more. Door and control locations look just like the Westinghouse. I had a Proctor-Silex brand in the Sprinter build that had some of the same steel stampings as the Westinghouse. It appears that there are many brand "600 watt" microwaves from the same manufacturer.
