Keyfob works, doors don't lock

Hi,

For the past couple of months, my 2015 150xlt beeps and flashes its lights when I hit the lock & unlock button on the keyfob but none of the doors lock or unlock. I don't hear any clicking sound in any door either. So it seems that the signal from the keyfob is reaching the van, it acknowledges it via the beeps and light flashes, but does nothing after that. Thoughts on root cause?

If it helps, just before this started happening I blew the fuse for the console cig lighter and had to remove and check many fuses before I located the blown fuse. Maybe I screwed up the fuse for the locks in this process....?

Thanks.

Further testing:
Does the button on the driver door lock the doors like it's supposed to? NO---> check fuses and wires at module
YES:
Do ALL the doors lock/unlock, or does one or more misbehave and either not work or automatically unlock? NO---> check individual door sensor
YES:
First stupid thing, put new battery in fob
Second little know issue, the shop tool that resets the tire air pressure sensor system also wipes the key fob and wireless keypad frequency that controls the locks (at least on my 2015).

Use the instructions in the manual to reprogram your keyfob to activate your locks.

I'm not sure, but someone said the module is in the console above the windshield. You'll have to do a search to verify, maybe look up TPMS module. If you've done any monkeying around in the overhead console, that may be the problem. Or with any wiring for that matter, and don't exclude the water from the windshield pouring over the wiring harness under the hood (driver side). I don't know where the wiring terminating at the overhead console goes up, probably driver A pillar.

If the lights flash when you press the button then ignore all the comments about the battery, reprogramming, and sensors. It's obviously working so you can bypass that. That's nonsensical thinking.

Do the locks work when you use the door buttons? If so they are functional and you don't need to check the fuse for the locks. That narrows it to the module that controls the lock/unlock output. You'll have to dig deeper to find that or see the dealer which is a pain.

I've seen people ask for a jump when their car is turning over and over but not starting. Don't be one of these people.

FT,
By any chance did the Configurable Locking feature get messed up (page 57 OM )

Good Luck

If it helps anyone in future, replacing fuses F1 & F2 in BCM fixed the issue. To get to these fuses you'll need to pull out the dashboard (driver side) cupholder, and couple of plastic trim pieces that are below the cupholder. Its a little cramped in there but the best way to pull out those 2 fuses is to use a very small nose pliers.
