Wire way access at base of B pillar driver's side?

Hi-

Does anyone know if the B pillar on the driver's side has a hole at the bottom? There's trim on there right now and I can't tell. My fish tape went all the way down it, so there's clear access from the edge of the wall near the ceiling. I want to run power from my panel to underneath the driver's seat to access the main wiring setup.

My panel, btw, is in the first opening behind the B pillar and will be covered by paneling with a door. I think it's a pretty slick setup, everything seems to fit and it will be hidden. I'll post pics when I'm done. Right now, going with a 30 amp DC-only system with solar connected to the alternator/starter battery through a relay.

Also, does anyone know if the trim below the seatbelt pops off easily? It looks like the trim above it (lighter grey) might be on top on it. I don't want to break anything to investigate or it nothing's there.

If you have another idea about running power from that first opening to underneath the driver's seat (short of a direction connection), I'm all ears. Thanks!

Do not know what is behind the plastic cover on the B pillar.

Do know you can run a cable from under van into the B pillar and up inside the van and out the bottom back of the pillar. You might be interested in that approach for your shore power connection.

Just posted some pictures for a question on the Sprinter site:

Not doing shore power or charger, simply connecting the house battery to the starter battery. Yes, I considered drilling holes in the floor, may go with that if there are no other options. Thanks.

The hole to the outside at bottom of B pillar is large enough for the cord and a rubber grommet. The hole inside on back of B pillar at the floor had to be drilled out larger for the cord and grommet.

Did you use a fish tape from inside to outside?

Do not remember how I did it. Had to push cord through the hole in the bottom because the cord has a molded male end on the outside end. Must have pushed baling wire down from above and then pulled a string up through the upper hole. Then string tied to the cord? Do not recall that it was too difficult. There is a large access hole at the bottom for the fuel filler hose.
