Ford giving Matt Ford 5 more allocations for R2X orders

We were down to our last 5 allocations for the 2nd Quarter and today Ford has added another 5 available allocations if we want them with 4 out of the 5 being at least a R2X cargo van. We did not anticipate getting any more allocations for this quarter but it may have to do with other dealers not placing orders and Ford seeing our large group of orders for this body style.

This just gives Transit buyers a chance to get a HR model without being under restrictions for that model. This would be for ordering a 2019 model and unless Ford extends this allocation to the 3rd Quarter, we don't expect them to give us the same consideration for the 3rd Quarter or ordering the 2020 models that would be a part of that time frame.

If you think you are ready for a 2019 HR Transit, you can email crewvanman@mattford.com and we can get you started on building a preview order for one. This does not restrict us from ordering any other body style but gives us the highest priority to get the HR body style orders.

We have 5 open allocations for this week with 2 customer orders ready for scheduling and 3 more that could be scheduled if you wanted to place your order for a 2019 model Transit. These would have early August build dates and late August to early September build dates depending on the build dates.

Time is getting close to the last orders that can go in for 2019 Transits. July 7th will be the last day to place your order unless Ford extends the 2019 production time to fill the last build slots.

We have used ALL of the original 2nd Quarter allocations and NOW have those extra 5 allocations Ford gave to us on June 1st. So now it is getting down to the end for orders for the 2019 model. If we came up with more orders after these last 5 allocations are gone, we could go to the Kansas City area director and probably get more allocations.

Currently working on more R3X and R2C model preview orders and those would become part of the special allocations. We can order ANY Transit body style with 4 out of the 5 special allocations so that works out great for the Transit buyer.
