Lineup for 2020 Ford Transit CrewVan buyers

From my discussions with the Ford Transit Brand Group, once they start with the builds on the CrewVan models, they will build a large number of them together. Looking at a number like 20 to 25 together since the platform for the second row seat and the overhead air bags over that seat will be a specific operation unlike any others on the assembly line.

What I would like to get on this thread are any buyers for the 2020 Ford Transit CrewVan model. What I need here is the following information:

Weight capacity...T-150, T-250, T-350, or T-350HD
Body style...Low, Medium, or High roof
Engine...2.0L Diesel, 3.5L V-6, or 3.5L EcoBoost
Rear Axle ratio & open or limited slip
Seat selection as far a Vinyl, Cloth, or Leather
Bulkhead behind the second row seat or NO Bulkhead

This is a projection for placing orders. If we can get a good number of the CrewVan orders together, they will build them as a group rather than wait for more orders to accumulate with other dealers and build them later.

I already have one in mine to order using the T-250 MR, 3.5L EcoBoost, 3.73 L/S, Leather seating, and NO Bulkhead.

Just like they currently do with building the same body styles together as a group, Ford will place the CrewVan orders together since the parts used for that build will be the same as far as the interior pieces.

Still deciding between Passenger and Crew once more details come out.

*T250 MR
*AWD
* EcoBoost 3.5
* Leather
* No Bulkhead
* 2 person rear seat if available, otherwise narrowest 3 pax

*Limited Slip
*3.73
*Most upgrades

**Could change mind on HR and or T350

**Final decision would heavily depend on build timing, I really want 2019 delivery as soon as the first orders come out.

Ps. I haven’t gotten any BOB emails yet, assume this didn’t go out to that list?

Thanks!

CrewCab is the front 3 passenger seat and you can't get a second row seat with that option. CrewVan is the only option to get the second row seat. it is basically taking out the current passenger seat and inserting the 31" 2 passenger seat that comes in the rear of the 12 passenger van.

If you can located a 12 passenger Transit van, look at that 2 passenger rear seat and that is what you get in the CrewCab option for the passenger seat.

I am hoping the AWD model will be available at the first order point for the CrewVan package. My plan is to get ALL of the ones who want a CrewVan and place orders together hoping the AWD will get built out with the CrewVan Package if ordered. They may have a area outside the main plant facility where they take the Transits to be upfitted for the CrewVan package so it would be taking those selected Transits to get finished out.

I really just want the window arrangement for the crew van and the interior trim for the sliding door. Van will most likley go to Explorer Van for the seats and interior. (They do not do sliding doors on the low roofs yet?)

T150 Low Roof
Diesel
Limited Slip 3.31
No Bulkhead and no rear seat (or it can be removed at the dealership)
Swivel Seats - cloth
Flip-out 2nd row windows
Power sliding door
All the goodies including forward collision mitigation and interior tech features and 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

Question: Will the Crew Van have the rear sway bar and the wagon?

Hi,

I have been lurking here for a bit - great info. Thinking about speccing a van (EL, HR, Ecoboost) for a conversion, and would like to get smart on the pricing for a 2020 4WD vs a 2019 (or 2020) 2WD. Couldn't find any price lists yet - is anything available yet?

Thanks
