For some reason I call it The Church Bus, TCB.
My goal at this point was to make it hall my bike, sleep at least over night comfortabley and not tear the wagon up so bad that I can not resell it as a wagon if we decide this lifestyle does not really suite us.
Here is how the conversion it going so far. It is mainly the table/bed pedestal/bike loading part.

Not sure why it will not rotate the pics correct. They are all correct at upload.

Since last post I have added a house power system with 100ah battery, inverter, charger and switching. I am finalizing my AC/heat unit install this weekend. I can run the inverter off house or start battery. That way I can use the charger built into my power system to recharge the house battery while I drive or to keep the house battery charged when shore power is available.

The van now has most of the comforts. Bed, tables, power, storage and heating and cooling. Most of the same features you find in most production conversions. I think I am up around $2k for ALL conversions. I bought the 2015 wagon used with 40k miles for under $25k. I am so frugal. I could have paid cash for a converted one but why waste $40k. I still have not done any damage to the original van and could take it all out in an hour or so and put the seats back in.

Just food for thought... Did you see my combo ramp/bed/bench? If you have to bring a ramp, you might as well get some other use out of it. In your case, you could have one mounted on each side for a full width bed. It is much stronger and lighter than wood.

I did see that ramp bed but not until after I did most of my design. I ended up buying a ramp that is arched because of the lower clearance of my bike. It lets me have a shorter ramp and not drag the pipes as I crest. I do also need the full width bed. All in an attempt to make her happy. Because as you know if she isn't happy...

Anyway I do like what you did. Just not sure I could make it work for my situation.
