Faroutride recommended a step-down fuel line adapter made by Webasto which goes from 4.5mm to 7.5mm. I am having trouble sourcing this pesky part in the United States. I found one seller, on ebay, shipped from Germany. It was $20 for the part, and $35 for shipping! Are there other solutions people have used?

I couldn't find anything online except for the same thing you found. I ended up emailing Sure Marine Service that a lot of people here bought their fridges from and carries Webasto and had them special order it for me. They charged me $31.92 with shipping. I just ordered it a couple weeks ago and haven't got it yet. They said they'll put it in with their next Webasto order. Not sure how long it's going to take. They sent me a paypal invoice so I could just pay online.

I purchased a stepped connector from a local parts store. Seems to taper down inside and looks like it should work. Picture attached. Also asked whether they had fuel line that met the Webasto standards listed in the installation manual but they didn't really have a clue. Said they had only rubber. I'm not sure if standard rubber is actually the plasticized fuel line the manual lists (mecanyl RWTL) but I did find it funny that all the links returned only Webasto links or links to Webasto manuals.
