May be worth talking with Aluminess. They've been manufacturing left and right swing aways for many years. Having to go through the swing arm on the right side to get into the back is a seemingly small but significant drawback for your product.

The Hitchgate actually unlatches on the left...and then swings to the passenger side.

Should have grabbed a pic of what the camera sees. Often times the camera still can get a decent picture of most of what needs to be seen out back.

I want one of these but, I don't want to give up my camera and licenses plate. Does the camera and licenses plate relocation parts work? Do you have pictures?
