I would not suggest using the Ford Kit if you do not have the pre-installed tow connectors on your vehicle. The Ford dealer that you purchase the kit from should be able to give you a copy of the above installation instructions.

Hello Kenjet, I have a 2016 t250 and I'm looking to install the breaker module but before I do I would like to see the installation instructions for it to see if I can handle it. I saw where you posted SKFK4J-15A416-AA 2015 Auxiliary Brake Control Installation but there was nothing I could click or download, could you please send it to me, I don't know if the site moderators took it down.
Also I'm a little confused about the computer reflas, when is this needed. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

I maxed out the limit for posting files/pics on this forum. I had to remove the file so that I can post some newer pics. PM me your email address.

Thanks for your PM, however it seems that I do not have enough posts to be able to reply to your PM, please send me all the related documents to dmanda24 at gmail (it seems I do not have enough posts either to put an email address) thanks a lot for your help.

Kenjent, I've 2016 T250 with factory tow package but no factory TCM. I plan to install a Prodigy P3 TCM. After reading this entire thread I think I know what I need but I'd like one further piece of info and hopefully you can supply it. I believe this wiring harness -

https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories...sha/22292.html

will fit between the factory TCM connector in the center console and the P3. However, I'm not certain of the wires coming from the factory TCM connector - can you identify the wires from the factory TCM connector in the picture above from your wiring diagram? Here's what I think they are: white - ground, red - 12v power, solid blue/thick one - to trailer brakes, solid blue/thin one - brake signal from brake pedal. Thanks!

Here is the diagram from a 2015 wiring diagram book. I do want to mention that this is from a 2015 book. I don't think it should be any different for 2016 but I don't know for sure.

From the diagram, the ground should be blk-green wire. The white and white-blue wires look to be for CAN communication.

Thanks Ken! Exactly what I needed! Of course I'll check each wire with a ohm/volt tester to ensure each wire is identified correctly!

So ... any thoughts from anyone that the wire labeled BU-OG / CB131 supplies the signal from the brake to activate controller?
