Transit Custom to the US?

I currently drive a 2010 Transit Connect.
I am thinking replacement next year.
Has anyone heard about the Transit Custom being imported to the US.
For me It would be the perfect size and I really need a front wheel drive.
The Transit is just too big and the RWD doesn't work too well here in VT.
Thanks for any input.

I am seconding this. Transit is too big for me and RWD is the worst for winter. Metris is just right size but also RWD. I will swap my Transit for Transit Custom right away, especially if it comes with diesel and manual. I used to own 1st gen 2008 Transit Connect in Europe with 1.8 TDCi and manual transmission and would even buy that again rather than anything else currently available in North America.
