Wow. $2200. Looks like nice quality.
These are the ones that upfitters are putting in or are there other brands/companies?

howmanyds,

That's the one some mobility upfitters are installing. My upfitter has already installed them and says they are very good. He's got one saved for me. He is an engineer who happens to be a para, built his business from the ground up and won't put something in someone else's vehicle, that he wouldn't have in his.

Not really that expensive when you realize that for the Sprinter, where they are an option in Europe but not in the U.S. , last year they were $5,000.00. If you could find a Sprinter authorized upfitter who would install them. They shipped the European model over here and installed them.

Has anyone had it installed yet? If someone gives a good review, I'll probably follow suit.

Some of the potential issues I heard are it doesn't fully close so you get wind noise, and some reliability issues (although I hear the autocool one is pretty solid)

antran7,

Wagon still sitting in my garage. Missed my upfitter date when Wagon was delayed in delivery. Now VA giving mobility upfitter crap because he won't write off the delivery charges he has to pay for items being shipped to him for installation. He is a Small Business owner and has to pay his bills too. (it amounts to several K for all the equipment) He had an open date to get me in, they told him he couldn't do it and I would have to start all over. Told them to pound sand, he's worked on my previous vehicles and will on this one.

antran,

Thank You, it is what it is. Those of us who have to deal with the VA, know it isn't the Veteran helpful organization it was originally established for, by President Lincoln. Too many bureaucrats trying to make a name for themselves and qualify for a bonus.

$2200 is outrageous. There is a company called Ador that has a power sliding door kit for $385 shipped. A guy on Sprinter Source just installed it himself.

Jostalli,
That's a really good price for Sprinter owners, wonder if it voids their warranty? That's the reason Sprinter doesn't sell the automatically operated sliding doors, which is standard on European models, in the U.S. If ou want it you have to buy from an authorized MB upfitter, who imports and installs the European kit on your Sprinter. Warranty is through him, not MB. Last checked $5,000.00 +
