Hey Hein...I recently received a 130" WB battery box from you. I'm wondering if you have instruction on how to install it. I'm also wondering if you have a drawing on where to install it on the transit. I think it goes on the left side next to the gas tank but I'd love to know the exact spot so I don't mess this up.

    Much thanks!

    Hello Ben,

Please send some photos to my phone (54l-49O5O98) so I can understand the areas you are concerned about. You are on the right track with cutting strips a little wide so they 'grip' the sides of the cavity. Thinsulate will expand once installed so if you fill the areas not more thant 60-70% then the material should grow to fill the space and support itself better.

    Hack saw,

Sorry for the slow reply. I am not sure what the weight rating is on the wheels I have. It's not an issue on the 150, I think. They are a pretty hefty wheel with decently sized/thick spokes. But that alone does not ensure a specific rating. I'm sure Tirerack only shows wheels appropriate for the vehicle selected. I will check to see if there are any markings on the wheels.

Hello Hein, I have a small question for you regarding Thinsulate install. I have a 148 medium roof van and I`m wondering how to secure the Thinsulate in small and hard to reach areas like above the side panels (where windows would be on a wagon..). Fitting the material up there is OK but I don`t know how I could apply the 3M glue there, then re-fit the insulation, ths area is way tighter than on a high roof model... I was thinking maybe add some bubble wrap film in there to hold the Tinsulate against the wall (not too much though so not to compress the insulation, but just so it doesn`t just slide and sit only at the bottom of the cavity overtime..).
Same question for the pilars, I will fish the thinsulate with a wire there, is there any chance the material will move down overtime with vibrations ? or maybe I just need to cut it wider than what I need (5in when I would need only 4in ?) and it will be tight enough ?

    thanks for any help !
    Ben

    Hein-quick question(s)
    1. thought you had a white 130. The pics with the new wheels looks silver. Did I miss something?
    2. Are the wheels on a T150? Called T/R and told no wheels for the T250, AND, the won't event sell any if they know they're for a 250, regardless of intended load.
    3. the Rial Transporter is rated for 3,197 and the Ultra Toil (you have?) at 3,500.
Net this out for me; you have______ and got______?

    Good evening,
I was looking at the battery tray thread and was hoping you had pricing info for the items you have available. I looked at your eBay store but only saw Sprinter items.

    Thanks!

    Hello Hein,

Mounted the Maxi fan a couple of weeks ago and it went fine. Your tip that the roof bracket mounting holes are centered on the ceiling ribs was particularly helpful, since we had already finished the interior ceiling. Thanks again.

For (one of) the next projects i will need to pull off those bracket mounting covers and screw in eye bolts. Do you recall if they are 8mm or i\are they a different size?

    Hello Hein,
We're still exploring eastern Oregon so we won't make it to Hood River this weekend. However, thanks again for the invite.
I would like to purchase Thinsultate and fan adapters (top and bottom) for my medium roof 130" wheelbase Transit. Not sure if you have this in Stock, but if you do I'd like to pick it up early next week. I still have a week of down time before going on business travel again. This gives me some time to install the fan and insulate the van.
    Thank you.
    Hein
