Looking for advice

Hi All
New to the forum, been poking around for a little bit. Trying to decide between the three (MB, Ford and Ram) van platforms for class B conversion. Have learned the most about Sportsmobile and have been to visit them in Austin. Any insight or experience with a build from them and any insight or experience with some of the other custom converters, namely Florida RV Sales, Morehead Designs(now BRAV), Colorado Camper Van, GTRV, Van Specialties and Outside Van.
Thank you in advance for your advice!

i researched them all. sportsmobile was the best in my opinion but i did not want to spend close to 100k and wait a year for completion (fresno). the transit was by far the better choice for the vehicle in style, maintenance availability and cost. the performance of the eco boost so far has been great.
if you watch, read and research this site you can find just about any information and help you need to do a minimilist or complete conversion for way less than what sportsmobile or any other will charge. it all depends on what you want. so far we are taking it slowly and evaluating our critical needs. remember, the more you have after warranty is the more you have to eventually fix.

Have you looked at the Airstream Interstate Touring Coach? It sits on a MB chassis. You can go right into the factory and look at a build.

Colorado Camper Van fastens everything with sheet rock screws. Horrible. Oh- did I mention the 3 dents in my roof that they "installed" as well? Yeah, they didn't tell me about it either. I discovered them when I was going over my next project. Their response: "Oh, those are easy to rub out from the inside". IF IT WAS EASY, WHY DIDN'T YOU DO IT WHEN IT HAPPENED? Stay away.
Try www.mytourig.com in Colorado.
