According to Quigley:
From the factory to Quigley, Ford owns the van.
At Quigley, Quigley owns the van.
Quigley to dealership, delivery driver owns the van.
I think the idea is everyone is properly insured.

Website was accurate for shipping my medium roof. I was charged $2000 (all inclusive) to Carson City, NV.

Shipping from Quigley

A shame Ford doesn't have the same deal that Chevy did. When I was originally looking at a Chevy wagon , they shipped it to Quigley. When it was done, it went back into the Chevy pipeline to the ordering dealer.

I have a feeling the high roof might be increasing my delivery costs.

Possibly. Would think that flatbed shipping is based more on weight than height(?).

Before I purchased my Quigley Transit last June at a dealer near Denver, the van was "through-shipped", reentering the Ford delivery system when transported from Pennsylvania. IIRC I paid a set fee for total delivery. I certainly didn't have to personally arrange shipment.

Perhaps this is common for folks who order a Quiglified van from Ford?

Hope this helps.

Through shipping is only an option for low roof.

Quigley quoted me $3500 to California, which is expensive. However, you have to understand how the car shipping business works. All the jobs are bid out to independent contractors by dispatch companies. A dispatch company, may give you a low bid but not be able to find someone to take your vehicle at that price for a month. Google some of the horror stories. Also, as soon as you request quotes, you will get a storm of email that will continue for at least a month. Do NOT give them your phone number! Dispatch companies will have it ringing constantly.

If you are knowledgeable about the industry or willing to take some chances on the delivery schedule, it can certainly be done cheaper than Quigley is offering. If you don't want to deal with the headache and want it quick, letting Quigley take care of it is a good option. But you pay a big premium.

I saw it somewhere but can't find it right now. I believe it was on Euro Ford literature but I could be wrong. LOL though there are at least 20 listings on Ebay for ABS chrome "4x4" emblems for the rear titled FORD DODGE JEEP 3D

My van was built the week of March 6th. Matt Ford just emailed and said my van is near Normal, Illinois on it way to Quigley!
