Passenger Swivel?

Seen a few threads about swivel attachments, which one is the best with minimal height change? I have a 2016 with non-power stock seats in fabric. Orton had bad experiences with the Discount Truck and Van, short of getting a whole new pedestal, what are my options? This one appears to be the favorite:

Do you really need washers to make this work?

So far I've also seen:

I was not the person that had problem Discount. Never bought from them.

I designed and built my own for passenger seat using two four bolt 1 1/4" flange bearings. Had parts cut by waterjet fabicator.

I personally have the one from the swivels r us. They work great very low profile. Seats look identical.

Whats the difference between the driver and passenger swivels? I see swivelsrus is out of driver side swivels.

So the driver swivel can just twirl around to the cargo area in a single motion?

That sounds perfect, if so. It looks kind of tight on the knees from the pics I've seen. The opposing pair of seats with a central table (that maybe a Murphy bed covers) looks like an efficacious layout (if the backs of the hind seats folds down.) The rest of the van will have to be tiny furniture to fit my bike (stall) in the back-center position of a tall long cargo van: the concept is formed.

Not quite. Driver door needs to open to make the turn in a single motion, otherwise you need to scoot the seat forward and back to clear the center console and inside of the door as it rotates. Definitely can't be seated in it during the spin. But this is my experience with my swivel, other models may differ.

Thanks, that sounds realistic. So it sounds like a little exercise: something I could use more of anyway. It looked very tight on the clearance, and was not a main concern of the engineers while getting the product to market.

Totally impressive fab skills. What's the height change?

1 1/4" Could be less if I used flathead bolts for frame to base and for frame to seat.

Not too impressive if you knew it took me 3 design changes. Fabrication consisted of sending the drawing to the waterjet fabricator, cut two pieces of 80/20 to length, drilled 4 holes in a 40BTL40 sprocket and then bolting it together. Did another change since I posted the information.

Would have to crash the van to test it.
