Seat removal handles

Hello

Does anyone have a part number for the handles that come on the rear seats that are used to release them from the brackets that hold them to the floor? I would like to order them for the rest of my rear seats but haven't been able to locate a part number.

Thanks!

My van is in the shop getting a broken one replaced and hopefully getting more for the rest of the seats that accept them. I will let you know the part number if they will give it to me.

I found the part number once and saw they were something like $50 ea!
I needed them for my takeout seats I bought that were missing the handles- once I saw the price I decided a tie wrap looped around the catch worked just fine for a nickel.

Youch! Well if that's the case then tie wraps will work just fine.

It is Ford part number callout name: 65318.
Ford calls it: "Seat Back Release Handle Securing Strap".
Ford price online: $54.92!!!

I'll be using some nylon cord or something....I really wanted to order the Plastic Handles for all the seats, but $55 is too much for my annual earnings! haha

I was contemplating ordering some extra handles, but I agree not for that much!

Then I remembered I had some 1/0 ground wire pieces left over from an electrical project So I spent a few moments with them in the vise and they are perfect! Cost: $0 when laying around, $1.39 for a foot @ Home Depot

I was surprised to see the 2017 12 passenger includes the handles on all the bench seats. Only the single jump seat by the slider is missing them.

Interesting. As a long-time youth leader with countless van trips under my belt, I had come to the conclusion that there was a safety concern that a passenger might think it funny to pull the unlatch handles on the seat in front of them

XLT wagon Silver/Charcoal, 2-12 Passenger (on any given day), alloy wheels, Ionic running boards, various modifications ongoing.

I like the tip to use a 5/16" bolt through the hole above the catch when it's open to hold it open. Just use a screwdriver or something to pry up the catch a bit, grab the little arm sticking out and open it all the way, and put the bolt through. It's not like you're going to be taking these seats in and out every day, so no need to retrofit handles onto all of them.
