Driver's seat annoying squeak/creak (power seat)

Hi all,

I have a 2015 T-350 wagon with less than 4,000 miles. The driver's seat has an annoying squeak/creak that occurs every time the vehicle turns, accelerates, or brakes. I lubed all the mounting points and the areas that the seat's back mounts to the bottom part; all to no avail. It sounds like it might be coming from something related to the lumbar inside the seat back.

Any similar experiences? I really want to make this noise go away.

And before anyone asks, I have not taken it to the dealer to be fixed under warranty. I'm trying to avoid scheduling two weeks out and leaving it for two or three days to fix a simple seat noise

Can you replicate the noise by manipulating the seat? If not, might be worth a look underneath in the battery compartment to see if anything is loose.

I have a similar noise. I swear my breathing causes it.. I inhale and it creaks loudly. I'm serious. It just doesn't bother me enough yet to do anything about it.

I have it too. I agree it's in the lumbar support.

Happy to hear that I'm not crazy, and other people are experiencing it! Alarmist, I can get it to make the noise fairly regularly. Since several of us believe it's in the lumbar, I might concede to taking it in and seeing what the dealer says.

2500 miles on my mine with the power seats and no squeak yet. I'll keep an ear out but I hope I just get lucky and it does not appear. I do get a weird clicking noise when I lean down on the drivers right side armrest. It seems if I lean on it a little and then take my arm up it makes an odd click noise. This already drives me nut so if the seat starts acting up I will be looking for some kind of remedy as fast as possible. Hopefully someone will figure out what exactly is causing the seat squeak because I'm guessing it will only be a matter of time before I hear it and I hope theres a fix for it by then.

2015 10 way power driver seat and no problems or squeaks or anything. Maybe try different adjustment point (more or less lumbar). Maybe you are at an extreme. Only weird thing I do is I have my seat bottom is tilted always the way down in front.

70,000 miles and no problems with my power seat.

Are you sure it's the seat making the noise? As I get older my body creaks and groans every time I move.
