Anyone consider a Mercedes Metris?

Been looking at a Transit 250, but the height clearance of the Metris is appealing to me as I often need to get into city garages. Just wondering if anyone else considered the two and what you found.

The medium roof is 8'6"and fits in all drive thrus (which I use a lot) . Most and I say most, garages are above that amount but not all. It's just so nice to just tip my head and walk around the back of my van.

We have a current model Sprinter with an amazing 4cyl diesel power train and 7spd for remarkable fuel economy.

The Sprinter was too large for my taste/needs, so one of the other guys took it. I was aware of the Metris coming and had my eye on it. 2 things turned me off, I was hoping and praying it would get the same sweet sprinter powertrain, but noooooo, only a gas engine was avail. Secondly, it was simply too small for my taste and needs.

The low roof Transit size slots neatly between the two, but ****, if M B made a Transit size sprinter with a diesel 4cyl power train, I'd be all over it in a heartbeat.

Arrived : 2015 T150 Cargo, 3.5EcoB, LoRoof, RWB, alloys

I also almost bought a Metris but just did not have the room and the cost was a bit too much for what your getting in my opinion.
I am glad I bought my Transit 250 and I also saved about $20K

$20k?!! wow that's a pretty good savings. I've found some lightly used Transit 250s but even then it seems I'm only at about $10k savings(still significant just not $20k)

I bought my Transit used with 14K miles on it as a certified so I get the 100 K warranty and it was out the door for $20K its like new no scratched or dings.
I look at a Metris for what I wanted and it was going to cost me $39K

wow that's great. Mind sharing which model and which dealer? How far off was that 20k from their asking price?
