3rd brake light

I've used the search box and looked beyond what those results were and still cannot locate instructions on how to replace the 3rd brake light bulb on a Transit 250. Please provide instuctions

Looking at this product it seems to be 1 screw and 3 clips for the housing... Hopefully someone can chime in that has replaced it.

It's held in by 6 clips. 3 above and 3 below. You can see them through the lens. Easier to work from the bottom. A trim tool pushed against the clip will release it. It takes a bit of force and some gentle outward prying.

After getting it out, can you replae the bulb or is it a sealed unit and as the OM says?

Sealed unit. Cheap though. About $20 if memory serves.

Thanks. I'm considering removing mine to create a vent.

Nobody looks that high up for a brake light anyway. I don't know if it will throw an error code or not.
