Thanks, I downloaded it (pdf) and has alot of info that will help me prior to the transit test drive in dearborn.

USMC vet: around page 250ish, they show the batterys under the drivers seat,
this may help you with your questions

Thanks guys. I get the general idea from their drawings, too bad they didn't have an actual picture of the seat and battery compartment.

I like that you can "jump start" under the hood (batterys still under the seat)
Or attach a battery tender if parked for a while
I want to be able to "work" the good radio prior to driving again.
Alot of "stuff" to know if you want to read first.
