The Coleman and U-Haul cylinders are both about 3 7/8" diameter.

The Coleman is about 8 1/8" tall and the U-Haul is 8 5/8" tall. So U-Haul is about 1/2" taller.

1/2 inch taller is about all it takes to make my Mr Buddy portable not be able to sit square on a surface
I suppose I could add taller rubber feet to it if I had a bunch of the Flame King or U-Haul tanks

Just found that Home Depot has the Flame Kings for $13.97 with free shipping to store if your store doesn't carry them....think I'll pick up a few. Turns out the Uhaul program uses the same cylinders but they seem to be dragging their feet on going nationwide.
REI sells them too for $14.97 with of course the 10% rebate end of year if you are a member.

No, I am not much on living in deserts or arid climates
Nice places to visit but I prefer dense deciduous forest and tree covered mountains.

Been to Nevada, Utah and Arizona a few times and thought it was amazing, but don't really want to live there

This is where I live in Western, NC
