Turned Passenger van into crew van

Well here are some pics of my Van. I wanted a crew van, but obviously they do not make them. I like the Passenger van anyways as I get finished interior headliner/panels, Rear AC/Heat and I can look out my windows while I work.

Just posting these as it may help others too so they can see how this beast is laid out.

Let me know if you have any questions. This took about two months and I did 95% of it. Only Diamond plate and rear bulkhead was custom made for me.

Everything in here is bolted solid and will not budge. Very happy with the end result.

A lot of special orders go this route with ordering the Transit Wagon and then adding the Builders Prep package. You get the wagon features without the extra seats inside so you don't have to pay for the extra seats and you have the floor to order as you wish.

One feature you have making a crew van with the wagon is the side air bags are in place for the additional passenger area. Using the Transit van leaves that area without side protection. On the prototype Crew Van, there are side air bags in the area right behind the passenger area in the sliding door area. Right now looks like the bulkhead behind the added seat is a solid partition with small holes in it. Looking to add a open area in the partition so you can look through and see to the rear of the Transit if no cargo is loaded inside.

I'd put a TRUMP bumper sticker on it, but I'm quite certain it would be vandalized.

How hard was it to put the airbag covers (or what ever that top piece is called) back up? Did you need more hardware or did they just snap back into place?
