How effective is the fan/vent during the hot weather? That might be my first project.
I think it helps a lot. I did find for good air flow you must open the front side windows a few inches to allow the air to move. The van is just to air tight to feel any air movement with out a window cracked.

Will try the new fridge first weekend in Nov. Big dual sport event in KY, and will be camping for 3 nights...

Thanks for the pics! Been trying to figure out moto configurations on my floor to decide which van configuration will work best for my needs. Hoping to occasionally squeeze a Husky 250 & 450 in with one seat row left in.

Seen this while camping the other day. A fellow camper next door had one, so when I got home I ordered one from Amazon... At $200 bucks, and biscuits in the morning its great deal... Here's a few pic's.. It is made by Camp Chef.

Smitty. How do you like your awning? Looks like my 2 choices for awnings are Fiamma and Carefree. Just curious if you looked into other awnings besides Fiamma? If so, why did you choose Fiamma? Any regrets? I'm considering of the 13'1" length - any thoughts ?

I'll be using my Transit to haul my XR400 and/or my Africa Twin around the states. Just bought it last November and waiting for spring to start my mods. The list grows day by day!!!!!

Do you guys get water coming between the awning and van body when deployed in the rain? Or is there a gutter I'm not seeing?

Regrets, not with the awning.. just with the service in Florida. It was like getting a tooth pulled trying to get any info about my order. It took about 10 days longer than they told me.

But the thing that really got under my skin was one guy who answered the phone most of the time.I asked a question and I would hear a big sigh.and he acted like I was asking for a kidney. . I did look at the Carefree and sure it would have been fine also. The 13'-1" worked perfect for me.

I do get water off the side of the van when raining. They do make a rubber flap that slides into the Fiamma awning. I will do a bit of searching to come up with something simple to solve this issue.

After hauling 3 bikes to Utah last year I thought of buying a trailer. This was so I could still sleep in my van while in route to my destination. I bought this 6x12 Bravo on Wednesday. Very nice build quality, and pulls great. It will work great for hauling my Vstrom, and the KTM 300 or 690 together.

Living my dream. Great setup. I've bought wheel well covers and a windshield sun shade for mine, lol. Hope to get more busy on it after a move. Let us know how the van does pulling it! I wonder if the height and aerodynamics of the van allow for better towing mileage vs. say a pickup or lower roof height vehicle.

It was a 3 1/2 hour drive home from the trailer dealer. I dropped. Little over a mile per gallon with a empty trailer.
