Somehow I just found this thread- got my Transit home last week- first order of business was a plywood plate cut to flt with a bike shoe on it- just like smitty141 did!
Currently it is holding my DR650 and I'm looking to see how to squeeze my DL1000 in next to it- the bike shoe of course won't work for it.

Spent the morning building a 36"x68" raised platform right behind the front seats for the 2 dogs to ride on and be able to see out the windshield and the sliding door window. It is also removable quickly like the bike hold down.

I was due to be in the NC mountains to ride the DR starting this morning- but the weather forecast for rain scratched those plans. I like to ride but I don't like to get caught in the rain if I can help it! I'm retired so I'll just go later, maybe even later this week.

After squeezing the bike in and the dog platform I'm glad I got the extended van

Hey I ride green, red and yellow- its all good! Besides my two Suzukis, ie the DR 650 and the DL1000, I also have a plated XR400 and a plated KDX200.

Now that KDX is hoot on the street- ring ding ding and trailing smoke! More than once I've been pulled over by cops who thought they caught a kid on a dirtbike. They are shocked when the helmet comes off and I have grey hair, registration and insurance

I recently ordered one of these to use in the Transit for my 2 bikes. Not cheap but supposedly it will fit both my small KTM and big BMW...no other stands I found seemed like they could do that.

pwrov1 - I found this one that I like, it will fit my Goldwing and with the adaptor's will fit the KTM. The plus is that it looks like it will remove from the van quickly and only leave two screws.

Enjoy Taylor Park, if that's where your going!

Looks like that stand will do the job too!

Going to be in Ouray and San Juan National Forrest area. SW corner of Colorado. I'm pumped!
