Delivery May 9, 2015. 3K break-in miles through Northern California mountains.

Then 20K miles in three months, San Francisco, CA to southern Nicaragua, north to Montana, back to San Francisco.
Cruising speeds 65-85 with lots of stops (speed bumps).

Mileage, calculated by hand, lowest 19.5 mpg - highest 21.5 mpg. Normal load 1,500-2000 lbs. All standard tires at 35 psi for ride.
Hauling in Nicaragua, added 2-3,000 lbs here and there.

No problems, no body or other noise yet, even with the hellacious central american speed bumps. Even tire wear.
Great truck except for the rough ride when it's rough. Limited slip works very well, if traction control is turned off.

Comments in some threads about revving the 3.7 I don't understand..
I found to keep high speeds 70-80 mph through mid-altitude mountains racing the crazy Mercedes commercial truck and suicidal bus drivers in Mexico and Guatemala, the 3.7 much better liked the auto setting staying a low rpms, in the grunt, for keeping up.

Lost the right mirror by the roots to a parked semi. Duct tape and a shaving mirror made it home. $500 replacement at my California body shop. On the third windshield but all rock damage on California freeways.

2016 extended high roof, drove to Fla. and back. 20.2 best tank (flat still wind) & 16.2 worst mountains of north Georgia. This was @ 55 MPH. Van has about 4K on it. My best so far was 21.8 coming back from Georgia.

Medium roof, 130 WB, 3.7 L, 3.73 axle, Quigley 4x4 and Sportsmobile camper van, always carrying 1200-1700 pounds, with a ceiling fan and two solar panels on the roof sticking up about 3 inches. Her name is Little Martha after the Duane Allman song.

I have almost 9000 miles on her, averaging between 15 and 16 mpg overall, both calculated and on the dashboard. I seem to get better milage in Colorado and Utah (17-18 mpg using 87 octane) then I do in the flatlands around Indiana where I live (15-16 mpg using 87 octane). Maybe it's the altitude? Worst milage was on I-70 at 70-75 mph through Kansas with very strong cross-winds (12 mpg). I seem to get my best milage in the 40-55 mph range.

She performed well through the mountains and in the Kansas cross-winds. I could keep her at whatever speed I choose, although she would downshift to keep the speed, sometimes to 3rd (I think), revving to almost 5000 rpm. One time she downshifted to 2nd (I think) and revved past 5000 rpm at about 60-65 mph for a few seconds before upshifting.
Overall, I am happy with her performance in the mountains and around town, even with the downshifting. It's a strong engine.
Is revving to 5000 rpm okay for the engine?

Any idea how much of a hit engaging 4WD is on mpg with your van? I have 10,000 miles on my van and average 17 mpg in mixed driving and 20 mpg on the highway (60-65 mph). The one time I had 4WD engaged for a prolonged period of time, mpg dropped to ~14 mpg. I generally carry a light load: 2 dogs + camping gear.

No. I haven't used it enough to get a good feel for 4WD mpg.
