150 or 250?

I'm in the process of ordering a low roof long Transit Van with an Ecoboost.

Will be used primarily for traveling with my wife, dog, cat, a bunch of bicycles and assorted gear, will not get close to maxing out the GVW.

Is there any reason in terms of driveability/whatever that would make getting a 250 (or even a 350) a better idea than the 150?

I'll occasionally use it for hauling construction material, furniture, etc, but not very often and even those loads shouldn't push the GVW of the 150.

Appreciate any insight.

Cheers,
Rod

250 gets you more rear spring. Front stay the same, at least as far as weight rating. Might ride better with the 150.

I agree.... if you don't need the additional spring rating stay with the 150. I would always get the trailer tow package for the upgraded trans.

Resale is something to consider. If 250 does not cost much why not. Better to have the capacity and not need it than........
