Rebates on Transit???

I got an e mail from Ford advertising the "Dream Big" Sales event, So I entered Ford Transit and it says 1500 dollar cash back rebate if you take delivery before January 5th. The catch is.... It says from Dealer STOCK!!!! ETA on my Transit is December 28th... I wonder if the dealer would count me in since it took 8 months to get this Van??? guessing not but you order one of buy one off the lot, your still spending 40 grand!!! I will sure give it a try. They also have a 500 dollar Military appreciation rebate, So I am thinking if I don't get the 1500, 500 will still be nice since I am a USMC Veteran.. WRONG!!! it is for active duty or if you are 180 days from separation. Good Luck.

They gave me 1500 off on my order 11/3. The deal was 1500 or greater if there was a better rebate at the time of delivery.

Packerbacker Marine,
If you are a Disabled Vet (member of DAV) you can get the Transit at " X " pricing (Ford Partner), they are also including a $750.00 Disabled Vet rebate. Will know more about Dream Big rebate later today. When I talked with fleet mgr, he knew I would be ordering from factory and advised I would still get it. Said it would only change if there was a better deal when I took delivery. I'll find out when the ink hits the paperwork.

There was no rebate at the time we ordered our custom, non dealer stock van in July. We took delivery earlier this week and the $1500 rebate was applied. From what we were told you will receive whatever rebates or deals are current at the time of delivery. Good luck!

PeterR,
Be interesting if upon delivery, they honor that. At 67, have had lots of sales people say 1 thing, but if it isn't in writing, "they forget". Will try to get it in writing later today.

JP4,
Did they take it off your contract price paperwork on 11/3? Or tell you they would on delivery?

I ordered my van when Ford had the "employee pricing" campaign in effect.
$5100.00 off msrp.

Cheers,

Just checked, the $1500 off was on the contact in writing.

I got Xplan, the $1500 rebate, plus a $500 rebate.
I was told they are both locked in, but that if the $1500 rebate is increased by the time of delivery I get the increased one. Very experienced fleet manager, been in the business all his life.
