mhnatt, you may be referring to my order, in which I did say "No rear A/C" -- which (only) meant that I did not intentionally order Rear A/C as a separate line item. My Order Confirmation has the same 57B Manual A/C NC. I also ordered an XLT low roof wagon, but in the 130" WB, which should not make a difference IMO.
So, to untangle this . . .
First, the Order Guide you reproduced with the 57G line item appears (to me) to be an old one (was it dated at the source?).
I have a hard copy of the 11/1/14 dealer Order Guide, and the line for the 57G A/C (on p. 7) now includes the language (which I had not noticed when I placed my order): "Standard All Wagons Except Low Roof Regular Wheelbase RWB XL Trim (K1Z/K1Y with 301A)." [This exception does not apply to my order IMO.]
So, why does my order confirmation have 57B A/C, if 57G is supposed to be standard with my XLT build? Not sure. [Edit -- Could it be ( . . . stranger things have happened . . . ) that I will be getting the 57G A/C, but that it is not set out as a separate line item because it is automatically included in the XLT?]
I read recently here that there is an 11/15/14 version of the dealer Order Guide, but it is my understanding that none of these Order Guides are available online (except for the early one you posted). You will have to check with your dealer I guess. He or she should be able to give you a hard copy of the latest Order Guide.
Sorry not to have a complete answer for you. This roll-out has its share of information gaps, inconsistencies, and SNAFU's, yes indeed.
[As one sales rep. was quoted here, as to when an ordered Transit was going to be delivered: [from memory] "I will let you know your delivery date when I see your Transit through my window, sitting on our lot."]
PS -- My order (listed manually from my dealer printout -- I have not received an electronic copy via email yet):
XLT Wagon ordered
PS2 -- Edit -- I live in the NE so don't need the A/C the way you and your family do. Plus, I was hoping to avoid the Rear A/C "Hump" at the left rear of the Wagon (as pictured here in various threads) because I am planning on removing the rear bench seat for a small DIY sleeping area and tool/camping equipment storage in the back.
