My understanding is that the ONLY difference (aside from badging) is the rear spring rates.
Seems rather pricey 150 vs 250 vs 350.

Rear leaf spring rates are the only difference I could find between all single rear wheel models.

MY TROUBLED TRANSIT - 2016 T150, MR, RWB, 3.5EB. Delivered 11/15 with major steering, tire, & alignment defects. Had 6+ front-end and Sub-Frame alignments. 6 defective tires replaced. Also Steering Rack, 2 Axle Seals, Diff Gasket, Rear Brakes and Rotors, PS Pump, Wet Air Filter, Hi stop-light. Crankcase P Sensor failed at 23,500 kms. To Date, 39 days at Ford Service. See "New Van Didn't Get Far"

I thought it was the same as the pickups; 150=1/2 ton, 250=3/4 ton, 350=1 ton. Or there abouts.

The pickups incorporate heavier brake, driveline, axle, wheel, and frame builds as the 150/250/350 etc designation rises. The Transit line has identical frame, brake, transmission, wheel and axle components. My base 8600 GVWR 130" T150 has 3453 lb payload (thats double my 2010 F150 1700Lb payload). And its not much less, if any, than a comparable 148" T250, and it has the same driveline components.

Go figure.
