Does the Ford Transit fullsize cargo vans come with a rear auxiliary heater for the cargo area?

Okay sorry about the link I just found out that I can't successfully successfully submit links until I've had 10 post.
Your Transit may have one installed already some do I had to call and give the Ford dealer my VIN number to find out. If not I'm going to be installing a house battery so off of that I'm going to put a small electrical heater on the passenger floor and put a timer on the circuit set to about 15 minutes before I go out to the van. I'm going to also set on a timer for the above block heater about 3 hours prior to starting the van

I'm referring to the stock rear heaters that sometimes come with the vans from the factory , two heater cores , one for the front , one for the cargo area.
I'm just curious if full size Transit cargo vans ever come with these heaters?
Thanks

Ford's idea of "rear heat" in the van is having a blower under the passenger front seat which blows air from the front heater core towards the back. My 12 year old Express (the vehicle I replaced) had an actual rear heater core that expelled heat in the rear of the vehicle. On a cold day, no hot air will reach the rear of the vehicle.

If you look at image 4 in this post you can see the heater core located under the passenger seat that is part of the rear AC option.

I saw an option.....sorry can't remember the company....where it's a fuel driven heater. It actually uses a fuel line from your gas tank and has its own fuel pump. It is controlled by a thermostat in the cab and will run regardless if the van is running or not. The efficiency is supposed to be one gallon of gasoline per 22 hours of operation. Be nice to keep caulk and adhesive from freezing at night. I'll try to find the manufacturers name.

The main use I would need heat in the back would be for keeping my flooring material warm while going to the job. Anyone have a link to a simpler electric version? Guy I worked for used to have a blower and heating element of some kind in the back of his Chevy.

Electric heaters use too much juice unless your running it off of shore power.
It ain't very hard to plumb a heater core from the engine and sit a fan in front of it .
12 volt fan would need a standard 30 amp automotive relay wired to it ,
Would need a valve in line to shut off the water flow in the summer

Another thought on a rear heater

You could always find a heater assembly from a wrecked wagon and install it in the rear. Run the wiring and fluid line under your floor. I was recently faced with eliminating the rear heater in my wagon or not being able to have a transfer seat installed on the passenger front seat. Upfitter removed heater from under front seat and installed it in the rear area of the jack. (passenger side opposite the rear A/C housing). Connected to the OEM floor ducts and blocked it off in the front. Works great.:)

Did more research....the Wabasto looks like the way to go. $900 to $1100 depending where I see it. Ugh....well I'm sure it'll be worth it in the long run and the install doesn't look too bad. But I can't find where to order a gasoline version. Diesels are everywhere. Anyone know a local distributor near Northern Illinois or somewhere to find the gasoline version online?

Yes the Webasto looks great but i meant in addition to use while driving .
Does the Ford Transit come with the option of a rear auxilary heater ? You know the type that
uses your engines coolant through hoses leading to the back of the van to a REAR heater core with 12 volt fan? Free heat while driving!!!!

If you order the rear AC, it comes with an additional heater under the passenger seat that blows heat into the cargo area.

Thinking of ways to heat cargo hold when needed and not have something taking up room...under the seat heater would do the trick....I know there are aftermarket units, but if I could avoid that that would be great...don't think I want a gas heater sucking fuel and blowing fumes out....I think the OEM taps into the heater core...but I could be wrong there...I am going to do some more investigating...
