100 and 200.

Seriously though, I've been under both and I can't see one bit of difference. It must be the same marketing team that decided to rate my 3.7 at 275 horsepower instead of 305 for the same engine in a 'Stang. There are a few part number differences for running gear but damned if I can see the difference. I know when I compared my old 2500 to a 1500 there were numerous, obvious differences.

Based on your other thread you're looking for a wagon? If so wagons come in 150, 350 and 350HD variants. 250s are cargo/van only. In terms of a wagon 150s are 130" wheelbased vehicles that can come in low roof or medium roof (afaik). 130" == RWB - Regular Wheel Base (150). These are 8 or 10 passenger wagons that may be equipped with all engine options. Keep in mind a 3.5, RWB in anything other than white is a rare bird and would likely need to be ordered.

148" == LWB - Long Wheel Base (350). Come in all heights low-roof (LR), medium-roof (MR), high-roof (hand-shaking god/HR). All engine options are available but when wanting more than 3 specific options they begin to start getting rare unless ordering. 12 passenger and 15 passenger, said to be running more spring and tend to come with factory installed swaybar.

148" + junk in the trunk == EL - Extended Length (350HD). Come in high-roof. May be duallies (DRW) or single wheels (SRW) on the back. Adds nearly 3ft to the back of a LWB. 15 passenger. Another rarer bird.

It's about as clear as mud unless you see them in person.

If you want to get real gory with the details consult this document:

https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas...Transit_SB.pdf

Be warned that it can become information overload quickly and make sure you consult the Wagon section (if you want the wagon specs of course).

Shmoo: 2015 T350 LR Wagon, 3.7L/3.73, 15 passenger family hauler.

Thank you! The ones we are finding are mostly 150s, so that's good to know that it would be ok for our needs. Yes, we're looking for a wagon, and a 10 passenger with a sliding door and low roof so they are pretty rare. Fortunately I think there are a few in the surrounding states that will work because the new baby is due in January and so we don't have 3+ months to wait for a new one to be built.

Let me know your location via zip code and what type of wagon you are looking for and I will see what is in your area and what other Transit wagons may be available. As you may have seen looking on the forum, colors and special options are hard to find on a dealer lot. Low roof 8 & 10 passenger wagons are pretty rare sitting on a dealer lot; most go pretty fast now with the added rebates and dealers trying to move more inventory before year end.

CrewVanMan - I tried to send you a private message, but it said that I haven't posted enough so I don't have that privilege yet. Here is what I said:

Thank you for your offer to check up on vans for me. We've found a couple, but we haven't made any final decisions yet. Here's what we're looking for:

10 passenger
low roof
xlt (which I believe all have reclining back seats and rear air conditioning, but we'd want to confirm that it has those, too)
sliding door
new

Those are the big "must-haves." Other than that, we'd prefer a darker exterior color, privacy glass, remote start, and running board, but those are all things we are willing to go without if we can't find a van with them.

My zip code is 55347. Most of the ones we have found are in other states, but dealers we have been working with are able to get them shipped here.

If you have a chance to check, that would be great! Thank you so much!

One that is close to you is located at Apple Ford/Lincoln in Apple Valley, MN. Best to deal directly with the dealer who has the vehicle for the best deal. It is a 2017 Model, Magnetic exterior color with Pewter Leather interior. VIN is HKA36573.

Remote start can be added by the dealer and there are many aftermarket running boards available depending on what you like. Most popular ones seems to be the Ionic Running Boards with the driver and passenger boards and the power version made for the passenger side made by AMP.

Thank you so much! I will give them a call. How would you recommend we search for vans? I've tried calling around to dealers and searching cars.com. Are those the best ways to find out what's out there?

Just let me know what you want. I can find them as fast as any Ford dealer. Can't see any special ordered ones or any that a dealer might have off their available list.

Another one at John Amato Ford in Mukwonago, WI. Magnetic with Charcoal cloth interior.VIN HKA 13904 Same dealer has the NEW White Gold exterior color with similar options. HKA18654

CrewVanMan,

from various things I've seen over time throughout the forum I have inferred there are ways to track the whereabouts of a van between when it is built until it is delivered. You have been helpful in the past advising how to view its build date, then afterwards how to see the window sticker. Is there yet another link for viewing its subsequent travels? If it helps, my VIN is 1ftyr2cg9hka36699
