Humming issue resolved and a review for QuadVan

It has been a while since I have a had a spare moment to log on and post that the humming issue on my Transit has been resolved. As a matter of fact, I think that is has been resolved for over a month now. Work has kept me extremely busy but I owe this to John at QuadVan.

Our conversion to the QV 4x4 has been nothing short of an experience. When we picked it up in Portland earlier in the Spring and drove back to Idaho, there was an annoying, to say the least, humming noise at highway speeds. I tried endlessly to explain, record, and relay this information to John at QuadVan. We called some local shops around where I work in Nevada to see if they could take a look at the Transit. After a few calls, we determined the best solution would be to have John's driver fly out and pick up the van. John's driver flew out to Idaho (where I live) and picked up the van to drive back to Portland. He did confirm that there was an obnoxious humming noise and that my wife and I were not crazy.

We were the first cargo transit that QV had done and only the 3rd or 4th Transit. Of course hiccups are to be expected. John was dedicated to doing what was right and resolving the issue. He tried a combination of different driveline lengths and angles to eliminate the noise. I would say that John was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and why he was doing it. He was extremely accommodating and dedicated to doing what was right in order to have: 1. A satisfied customer. 2. A solid product. 3. A thorough understanding of what the issue was in order to only improve his product for the future. To me this is the epitome of integrity. After about roughly a month, John had called to let us know that the van was ready to go and that there were no other humming, driveline or driveshaft issues.
John had his driver return our van to our residence in Idaho. Everything was done at zero cost or expense to us.

In summary, I am grateful to John's dedication to problem solving and doing what's right. It is refreshing to see in this day of age. I can only speak for my experience with QuadVan but if I had to do it all over again, I would choose QuadVan. John is a good man that will stand by his product and more importantly, his word.

New drive shaft lengths and angles. Along with a new fabricated bracket connecting the two.
Forgive me for forgetting the particulars. The bottom line for me was that he worked hard to resolve the issue, stood by his word and didn't charge us anything extra.
