House battery

Is there any room under hood to add a spare battery? If so has anyone done it,thanks

Under the hood (3.5L engine) there's a spot on the passenger side "frame" rail where a battery might fit. Inconvenient, at best, to get at. At very least, you'd have to dis-ca-hook the airbox hose, then deal with an awkward path of weight support to manuever a battery into place. Not to mention mounting.

Probably same on 3.7L. Diesel more likely to be different.

My father mounted a small tool box under the hood of his truck in spare space in engine compartment-
made it so he could remove easily to carry - worked Great - -
