// Roof Rack HELP! \\ Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT

Hey guys,

This is my first post on here and somewhat the initial reason I joined your forum.

I am looking to get roof racks for my Transit Connect Wagon XLT and was wondering if anyone had any suggestion/preferences on types of racks and which brands are the best????

I do a lot of camping and road trips. I will be promoting my company with stickers and eventually a nice wrap job so I need the racks to look clean!!

Anything helps. Thank you!

Brett,

Although you used the correct Section on this Forum, it is the wrong forum. For some reason the forum owners provided a Transit Connect area, but this forum is dedicated to the full size Transit models (sort of the same screwup that Ford made, naming the two different vehicles, the same. ) I've included a link to the TC forum, below, so that you might be able to get some useful info from others having TC's. Any info provided about roof racks here, most likely won't be usable on the TC.

I just did a rack set up for my Transit and it is awesome. I will take pics soon but couldn't be more please. It's a platform up top from Rhino rack. They don't have it on the site yet but it's a perfect fit.

I have a 2014 transit connect I installed Thule roof racks 5 bars with locks and a wind deflector on the front bar to cut down on noise was on the expensive side but well worth it can haul heavy objects no problem I used bolts with washers sticking up thru the roof then put the euro foot on sealing with silicone under the foot kit the only problem was the middle roof rack set up

Ed,

Again, if you want people that are knowledgable about transit connects, you should probably write about them on the TC forum, not here, where members have a completely different vehicle. (See the header at the top of the page)
