So my wife wanted to trade in her CMAX for a Transit Connect. CMAX was having lots of shop time, but she loved the features, etc.
Anyway, we were very close to a deal on the Connect. Had financing all setup. Had done a couple test drives. We decide to do another test drive, because we found the exact model we wanted. During that drive, when sitting at a stop, we'd get a really annoying vibration. Enough that you could feel it in your ear drums. Note that our other test drives were mostly highway use, because that happened to be the dealer location. This was at a different dealer with more city driving available.
We went back and tried another model Connect, same issue. There's something about the motor mounts this is a real problem, imo. It's transmitting vibes into the cabin and just the wrong frequency. It was a deal breaker.
So check this out when you drive one. Turn off the AC and let it drop into that low idle.
We ended up with a 2014 Flex, because they are knocking $8500 off of them!
