USB and Aux in

I recently upgraded my radio (new double din with the Metra kit, looks GREAT!)
Any tips/advise on getting access to the existing Aux in/usb port that is located below the vent controls? I'd like to drill out this area and install a combination USB/AUX to connect to the new radio. Any help on how to access this area would be appreciated!

Garage
It pops out fairly easily. There are some threads in here about different tools to help pry trim out, I use a modified metal putty knife.

Just insert a similar tool into a seam or edge and work your way around any piece you want out. I've found most plastic to be quite resilient and most of it is just popped in with a variety of tabs.

I would recommend picking up a cheap panel kit.

https://www.amazon.com/KINGLAKE-Pane...panel+tool+kit

I got mine at Harbor Freight.

In a pinch you can use a screw driver to pry it off, but I would recommend that any metal tool be wrapped in electrical tape. Keeps it from gouging the dash.

I also got one of those cheapy panel tool kits on amazon. So far it has done everything I've asked of it.

Could you share or point to the connections used for the standard audio input jack?
